English 11
English 11 is compiled according to the standard English program by Ministry of Education and Training. English 11 is written on theme-based topic. including 16 units and 6 consolidations. Each unit will be talking about one specific topic. The unit is divided into 5 separated parts, including:
READING
Focusing on developing students’ reading skill. The reading passage is around 240-270 words with follow-up tasks.
SPEAKING
Aiming to improve students’ speaking skill. Topics and language use are based on the theme through individual performance, pair-work, and/or group work.
LISTENING
Focusing on listening comprehension, listening for specific purposes, improving pronunciation through monologues and/or daily conversations.
WRITING
Developing students’ writing skill through tasks, like writing letters of different kinds, description of a table, chart, bar, etc.
LANGUAGE FOCUS
* Pronunciation: reviewing diphthongs, consonant clusters.
* Grammar and vocabulary: lexical items and grammatical structures introduced in the unit.

Being designed for students to revise what they have learned from each theme.

Unit 10 NATURE IN DANGER
In this unit, there are five lessons including Reading, Speaking, Listening, Writing, and Language Focus. Through the unit, students will learn about the endangered nature, causes and effects. Students will be provided vocabulary, useful expressions, and structures in order to talk about the topic. In addition, students will have more opportunities to explore facts and figures about National Parks in Vietnam. By the end of the lessons, students can basically talk about the impacts of endangered nature on human life.
